The big difference with an all-electric car is…..

Nothing! For me, after 30 years of driving a stick shift the biggest adjustment is driving an automatic. That and the XM radio, navigation system and bluetooth enabled phone. But none of those are particular to an EV. Getting used to when I use the Eco versus Drive mode is a bit like shifting. I use the Drive mode at intersections or merging traffic. The extra pep of the Drive mode is almost reminiscent of when I had a V6 – just a little tap on the gas and zoom. The Eco mode is just that. The more eco (ecological? economical?) you drive the more “trees” are displayed. I’ve only managed one tree so far, so if super Eco is my goal I have some work to do.
